A Floral Herbal Tea of Raspberry Leaf, Rose & Ginger
Menstrual Support Tea is a caffeine-free, loose-leaf herbal tea for the days before and during a period. Raspberry leaf, a long-standing staple of women's herbal tradition, is blended with cramp bark, rose petals, chamomile, skullcap, lemon balm, ginger and nettle. Whole leaves, bark and flowers are used throughout, and each serving can be steeped twice.
The Herbs
Cramp Bark: traditionally used to ease menstrual cramping, muscular tension, and feelings of heaviness or congestion associated with the menstrual cycle.
Raspberry Leaf: traditionally used to help tone and condition the muscles of the womb to support a smooth, balanced flow.
Chamomile a soothing aromatic herb, helping to ease stress-related digestive discomfort and promote relaxation during the premenstrual phase.
Skullcap: provides nourishment and helps to ease physical tension, cyclical worry, and emotional agitation.
Rose Petals: a long history of traditional use for menstrual and emotional wellbeing. Works to ease pelvic congestion, helping to bring comfort to irregular or heavy cycles.
Lemon Balm: provides a refreshing, bright character that eases low mood and premenstrual irritability.
Ginger: acts as a warming circulatory stimulant, encouraging healthy blood flow and oxygenation to clear stagnation and ease cramps associated with menstruation.
Nettle Leaf: traditionally used to replenish vital nutrients lost during a heavy flow.
Taste Profile: Gently floral, opening with rose, chamomile and lemon balm, settling into the green notes of nettle and raspberry leaf, with a warming finish from ginger.

Cramp bark is the herb most associated with period cramps in Western herbal practice, traditionally paired with ginger for warmth. Menstrual Support Tea contains both, with raspberry leaf, nettle, rose petal, skullcap, lemon balm and chamomile.
Cramp bark (Viburnum opulus) is the guelder rose of British hedgerows. The bark is the part used, and it has carried that common name in herbal practice for centuries because of what it was traditionally taken for.
Most people begin a few days before their period is due and continue through the first days, one to three cups daily. Steep covered for ten to fifteen minutes.
This tea has been created by our Medical Herbalists to support natural hormonal balance, ease the uncomfortable physical sensations associated with your monthly cycle, and calm premenstrual syndrome (PMS).
The whole-plant ingredients in this blend contain natural antispasmodics and circulatory stimulants that help relax the smooth muscles of the pelvic area, reduce localized tissue congestion, and calm cyclical mood swings.
We recommend drinking 1 cup between your main meals, 1–3 times a day. You can enjoy 1–2 cups daily for gentle balance, or scale up to 3 cups per day during your actual period.
Yes, this is a balanced, caffeine-free herbal blend made entirely from high-quality botanicals. It is perfectly safe to enjoy every day if you wish, though it is especially beneficial around your menstrual window.
See your doctor if your periods are very heavy, if the pain is severe enough to stop you working, if the pattern changes, or if you bleed between periods. Those need proper assessment rather than managing at home.
The tea is the broader eight-herb formula and the one most people start with. The tincture matches it closely and acts faster, as liquids are absorbed more quickly. There is also a Menstrual Balm for applying to the lower abdomen.
No, this functional infusion contains herbs that are not suitable for use during pregnancy or lactation.
We choose loose-leaf cuts because standard paper tea bags often use finely ground herbal dust that quickly loses its volatile benefits. Many bags also contain hidden plastics, glues, or bleaches. Loose herbs keep the active plant compounds intact and encourage a more traditional, mindful brewing practice.
A 40g tin provides approximately 25 - 30 servings, depending on how strong you like your tea. Because our loose roots and barks are highly resilient, you can easily brew the same portion of herbs a second time for another cup later in the day.
Yes, this blend is entirely caffeine-free and will not disturb your energy levels, nervous system, or sleep patterns.
While the active botanical compounds remain stable if the tea cools down, our medical herbalists recommend drinking it warm. Warm liquids support healthy local circulation and are much gentler on sensitive internal systems, helping you get the most comfort from the herbs.
