Acid Calm is a herbal food supplement for comfortable digestion, taken daily after breakfast or lunch. Mucilage-rich marshmallow root and cooling meadowsweet are blended with calming chamomile, as whole-herb powders in plant-based capsules.
The Herbs
Acid Calm brings together two groups of herbs traditionally used for the upper digestive tract. Soothing, cooling herbs calm gastric heat and protect the stomach lining. A calming herb settles the stress that so often unsettles the stomach. Together they make a blend for comfortable digestion after meals.
To Soothe and Cool
Marshmallow Root (Althaea officinalis): Traditionally used to soothe upper gastric heat and irritation, especially during episodes of excess acidity. Its natural mucilage coats and cools the stomach lining, helping it rest and recover.
Meadowsweet (Filipendula ulmaria): A gentle, cooling digestive herb, traditionally used to balance gastric juices and soothe an over-acid stomach.
To Settle
Chamomile (Matricaria recutita): Traditionally used to relax tight, spasmodic digestive muscles and ease trapped wind and an unsettled stomach, while calming the nervousness that so often accompanies digestive upset.
