Vocal Ease brings together raspberry leaf, agrimony, sage, marshmallow root, wild indigo, mullein, Icelandic moss and sweet flag — a herbalist-crafted blend traditionally used to support throat comfort, ease vocal strain and nurture clarity during frequent voice use. Ideal for singers, teachers, performers and public speakers, it helps you stay balanced, comfortable and confident whenever your voice matters most.

Raspberry Leaf (Rubus idaeus)

A gently astringent botanical traditionally used to tone and support tissues in the throat, helping maintain a sense of comfort and steadiness in the voice.

Agrimony (Agrimonia eupatoria)

Known in herbalism for its toning and soothing qualities, agrimony is valued for supporting vocal clarity and maintaining ease in the throat.

Wild Indigo (Baptisia tinctoria)

A grounding, stabilising root historically used by herbalists to support the body’s natural resilience during periods of increased vocal demand.

Sage (Salvia officinalis)

An aromatic, warming herb traditionally used to maintain clarity and freshness in the throat and promote a balanced environment in the vocal tract.

Marshmallow Root (Althaea officinalis)

A moistening, comforting demulcent that helps soothe and soften the throat, supporting ease during frequent speaking or singing.

Mullein (Verbascum thapsus)

A gentle botanical used to promote openness and comfort in the throat and upper airways, especially during periods of vocal strain.

Icelandic Moss (Cetraria islandica)

Rich in natural mucilage, this lichen is traditionally used to hydrate, cushion and soothe delicate throat tissues.

Sweet Flag (Acorus calamus)

A warming, aromatic root valued in herbal traditions for encouraging clarity and comfort throughout the throat and vocal tract.

This product contains agrimony, raspberry leaf, sage, marshmallow root, wild indigo, mullein, sweet flag, Icelandic moss, purified water and ethyl alcohol.

To enhance the efficacy of our Vocal Ease Tincture:

  • Stay Hydrated: Drinking warm herbal tea or water helps maintain the throat's moisture, aiding in relief and recuperation.

  • Maintain Humidity: Using a humidifier can help to keep the air in your living space moist, particularly in dry conditions or during winter. Moist air can ease throat irritation and coughing.

  • Avoid Caffeine: Caffeine can dehydrate the body. Opt for caffeine-free beverages when you're experiencing throat issues to ensure you stay hydrated.

  • Regular Salt Gargling: Gargling with warm salt water can aid in reducing inflammation and tackling bacteria. It's a timeless remedy to cleanse the throat and offer relief.

  • Limit Cold Beverages and Foods: Cold temperatures can sometimes aggravate throat discomfort. Opt for warm or room-temperature drinks and foods when you're feeling particularly sore or sensitive.

  • Dietary Choices: Favour foods with soothing properties, like honey, warm oatmeal, ginger, and broths and creamy soups to assist in healing. For some, dairy can thicken mucus and further irritate the throat. It's best to minimise or avoid dairy products like milk, yoghurt, and cheese when experiencing throat issues.

  • Avoid Irritants: Refrain from smoking, excessive alcohol, and spicy foods which can exacerbate throat discomfort.

  • Mindful Breathing: Practising mindful breathing or engaging in light throat exercises can help to relax the throat muscles and improve blood circulation.

  • Scarves and Warm Wraps: Keeping your neck and throat area warm, especially in colder conditions, can minimise exposure and soothe discomfort.

  • Rest Your Voice: Limit vocal strain by avoiding shouting or extensive talking when experiencing discomfort.

Our Vocal Ease Tincture is specially formulated to soothe and support the vocal cords and throat. It's ideal for singers, actors, public speakers, or anyone experiencing vocal strain, irritation, or hoarseness.

Yes, our Vocal Ease Tincture was crafted with vocal strain in mind! The blend of herbs helps soothe inflammation, reduce hoarseness, and support overall throat health. However, if you experience persistent vocal issues, it's essential to consult with a healthcare professional, ideally an ENT (ear, nose, and throat doctor) to rule out any underlying medical conditions.

Herbal tinctures offer a potent and convenient way to incorporate medicinal plants into your wellness routine. Their concentrated form allows for easy dosage and portability, making them ideal for daily use and travel. They are also generally absorbed faster into the body than other herbal preparations (such as teas, powders, or capsules) because the herbs are already in a liquid, easily-absorbed form. Tinctures boast a long shelf life and can be crafted from fresh or dried herbs, capturing the plant's beneficial compounds at their peak.

Tinctures are generally absorbed faster than other herbal preparations (such as teas, powders, or capsules) because the herbs are already in a liquid, easily-absorbed form. However, like all forms of herbal medicine, they are not a quick fix. For best results, we recommend taking our tinctures consistently, ideally daily, for at least a week to experience their full benefits.

Take 5 ml of tincture per dose, dilute it in half a cup of room temperature water and drink.

For best results, we recommend taking our Vocal Ease Tincture consistently three times a day, shortly before or after meals. You can take it directly or dilute it in a small amount of water if preferred. You can also gargle it gently before swallowing. It’s also beneficial to use it shortly before and after periods of vocal exertion, such as singing or public speaking.

While some individuals may experience relief after a single dose, we generally recommend taking our Vocal Ease Tincture consistently as directed on the product label for optimal and long-lasting results. You can adjust the frequency and dosage based on your individual needs and whether you’re using it preventatively or to address acute vocal strain.

We recommend taking this tincture consistently for 7-10 days but no longer than this. If your symptoms persist after 10 days, then please book a consultation with one of our Medical Herbalists.

If you take any medication, please consult one of our Medical Herbalists or a healthcare practitioner before use. You can email us at info@zenmaitri.com
