Solitude Body Oil is a nourishing, fast-absorbing body moisturiser designed to replenish, soften, and smooth the skin after showering. Blended with jojoba, coconut oil, vitamin E, sandalwood, vetiver and bergamot, it leaves skin hydrated, supple, and subtly scented with warm woody notes.

Coconut Oil

Our cold-pressed coconut oil provides deep yet lightweight hydration. Naturally rich in vitamin E, flavonoids, and polyphenols, it helps keep the skin soft, smooth, and comfortable throughout the day.

Jojoba Oil

Jojoba closely resembles the skin’s natural oils, absorbing quickly to deliver long-lasting moisture without greasiness. It supports a supple, balanced complexion and enhances skin softness.

Vitamin E

This product contains Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Tocopherol, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Schinus Terebinthifolia Fruit Oil, Cupressus Sempervirens Oil, Vetiveria Zizanoides Root Oil, Santalum Album (Sandalwood) Oil.

As a body moisturiser: After showering, warm 1-2 pipettes of the oil between your hands. Gently massage the oil all over your body.
As a bath oil: Add 1-2 pipettes of the oil to your bathwater. Swirl the water to disperse the oil evenly. Relax in the bath, allowing the oil to nourish and moisturise your skin.

At Zen Maitri, we recommend using body oils over body moisturisers or lotions for two important reasons: Firstly, oils are more easily absorbed into our skin than lotions or moisturisers. Secondly, oils such as jojoba oil, which this body oil is made of, is structurally and chemically the most similar to human sebum, the oil that our glands produce to protect our skin, which means it is most suitable for our skin.

No, this oil is not greasy since this oil’s base is made of both coconut and jojoba oil. Jojoba oil is a relatively light oil and easily absorbs into the skin. When it is used in combination with coconut oil, then the oil blend created ensures the skin gets the hydration it needs from coconut oil whilst not feeling too heavy due to the lightness and versatility of the Jojoba oil.

Our Solitude Body Oil has a refreshing and earthy-woody fragrance due to the sandalwood and bergamot essential oils contained in it.

We recommend using this body oil as a body moisturiser. Oils are much more nourishing and more easily absorbed into the skin than body lotions or creams so we recommend applying the oil to your skin after taking a shower. The great thing about our body oils is that they have a non-greasy texture so your skin will be nourished and will look radiant without you feeling greasy!
