Digestive discomfort — such as bloating, heaviness or indigestion — can arise after meals or during periods of stress. Digestion Tincture combines cardamom, chamomile, cinnamon, fennel, meadowsweet and dandelion root, a herbalist-crafted blend traditionally used to soothe the digestive tract, promote balance and support everyday gut comfort.

Cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum)

A warming aromatic seed traditionally used to support smooth digestion, ease bloating and maintain digestive comfort after meals.

Chamomile (Matricaria recutita)

A calming flower valued for soothing digestive tension and supporting ease during moments of indigestion or nausea.

Meadowsweet (Filipendula ulmaria)

A gentle herb known for promoting digestive balance and comfort, traditionally used to support healthy acid levels and ease occasional indigestion.

Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum)

A warming spice traditionally used to support gut harmony, healthy digestion and the natural balance of friendly gut bacteria.

Dandelion Root (Taraxacum officinale)

A classic digestive and liver-supporting root that helps promote natural detoxification, digestive regularity and overall digestive wellbeing.

Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare)

A soothing culinary herb commonly used to calm the digestive tract, ease gas and reduce feelings of abdominal discomfort or bloating.


This product contains cardamom, chamomile, cinnamon, fennel, and meadowsweet.


When to take
We recommend taking 5ml before or after lunch and 5ml before after dinner for a minimum of 7 days. Always dilute the tincture in water before drinking (see below how to make).

What is the maximum you can take daily?
You can take up to 15ml of this tincture per day, which means you can have up to 5ml before or after breakfast; 5ml before or after lunch; and 5ml before or after dinner.

How to make
Dilute 5ml in half a glass of room temperature water and drink.

Do not exceed the recommended amount or use this product as a substitute for a varied diet. Not suitable in pregnancy and breastfeeding.   • Hydration: Drink plenty of water throughout the day to support digestive processes. Aim for at least 8 cups (2 litres) a day, adjusting based on activity level and climate.

  • Probiotics and Prebiotics: Introduce fermented foods like yoghurt, kefir, sauerkraut, and kimchi into your diet. These contain beneficial bacteria that promote a healthy gut environment. Additionally, consume foods rich in prebiotics (foods that feed your good gut bacteria) such as garlic, onions, and bananas.

  • Limiting Refined Sugars: Excessive sugars can upset the balance of your gut microbiota. Cut back on sugary snacks and beverages.

  • Establish Regular Meal Times: Stick to a consistent eating schedule to regulate your body's internal clock and optimise digestive efficiency.

  • Limit Caffeine and Alcohol: These can irritate the digestive system. Monitor how your body responds and adjust your intake accordingly.

  • Avoid Overeating: Consuming large meals can overload your digestive system. It's better to eat moderate amounts and not to the point of feeling uncomfortably full.

  • Healthy Fats: Incorporate sources of good fats like avocados, nuts, seeds, and olive oil. These support healthy gallbladder function, which aids digestion.

  • Avoid Artificial Sweeteners: Some people find that artificial sweeteners can upset their digestive system. Be mindful of your intake and note any associated discomfort.

  • Stay Active: Regular physical activity promotes healthy digestion and can help prevent constipation. Activities like walking or swimming are especially beneficial.

  • Dinner Timing: Try not to eat too close to bedtime. Ideally, have your last meal at least 2-3 hours before sleeping.

  • Avoid Smoking: Smoking can weaken the muscle that controls the lower end of the oesophagus, leading to heartburn and acid reflux.

  • Stress Management: Prolonged stress can interfere with digestive function. Find ways to manage and reduce stress through practices like meditation, deep breathing exercises, journaling, or speaking with a therapist.

  • Watch for Food Intolerances: Some people have intolerances to foods like lactose or gluten which can exacerbate digestive issues. If you notice consistent discomfort after eating specific foods, consider discussing with a healthcare provider.
