How it all began
Zen Maitri opened its first store in Chiswick, London in 2019. The aim was to build a community hub for everyone. It was a calming space to consult or undergo a treatment with our team, browse our range of natural products, or try one of our delicious herbal teas.

An Urban Sanctuary
We quickly became an urban retreat for locals to take a breath and explore the world of natural health.
Herbal Apothecary
Inside was our beautiful herbal apothecary, where more than 150 herbs were housed in a mix of loose form, powders, and tinctures.
Design
Our store design was inspired by Dutch minimalism and the natural beauty of Bali, where our parent company, Zen Resort Bali, is based. Both combined to form an urban sanctuary that offers calm amongst the commotion.

Our Future
In 2024, after 5 years of serving the Chiswick community, we decided to close our store because our community had grown to include people living all around the U.K and the world. Although our home remains in London, we are proud to now be serving and connecting people from across the UK and around the world.
